Andrew graduated from the UCLA School of Law, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the UCLA Journal of Environmental Law and Policy. Since joining the Firm in 1997, Andrew has defended and prosecuted a broad variety of matters, including real estate, commercial, legal malpractice, entertainment, trademark, and employment disputes, shareholder derivative actions and other intra-corporate disputes, administrative mandamus proceedings, and appeals. For example, Andrew assisted in defending and obtaining summary judgment in favor of a national law firm in a legal malpractice action. Additionally, the Firm was asked to represent a medical professional after his license to practice medicine was revoked by order of the Medical Board of California. Andrew prepared a successful petition for writ of administrative mandamus overturning the Board’s order. When the Board appealed, Andrew also prepared the winning brief on appeal; again the Board lost. Andrew assisted in the prosecution of a fraud action against a major energy company which resulted in a multi-million dollar settlement for the client. Andrew successfully defended a breach of contract action against a prominent concert promoter who had no involvement in any wrongful conduct; the plaintiff voluntarily dismissed the complaint against the promoter rather than contesting the motion to dismiss that Andrew filed on the promoter’s behalf.

Andrew has previously volunteered with, and served as a Board Associate of, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles and the Inland Empire.

Andrew was named a 2006 Southern California Super Lawyers "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers and Los Angeles magazines.
